T3-Max-100 contains the active substance liothyronine, which is a synthetic thyroid hormone. It is made up of the L isomers of the natural thyroid hormone triiodothyronine (T3). Thyroid hormones stimulate basal metabolism and play an important role in cellular function, including the metabolism of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates. Liothyronine sodium is used in medicine to treat hypothyroidism, a condition in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough hormones.

There are two approaches to taking this medication. The first is the constant use of T3 in order to stabilize the burning of fat masses and reach the goal gradually, at a slow pace, or to stay in perfect shape. The second method is progressive. The calculation of the cycle of liothyronine is a purely individual matter and often does not depend even on the individual factors of the athlete, but on the drug itself. This drug is unstable, its activity greatly decreases over time. Therefore, all additional figures regarding the cycle will be very approximate.

For the treatment of mild hypothyroidism, the typical recommended starting dose is 25 mcg per day. Then the daily dose can be increased by no more than 25 micrograms every 1-2 weeks. The established maintenance dose is usually 25-75 mcg per day. It is recommended to use the drug once a day. Although liothyronine sodium acts quickly, the effects of its use can be observed in the human body for several days after stopping use.

Among bodybuilders and athletes, liothyronine sodium is used to accelerate fat loss in doses of 25 mcg per day. This dose can be increased by 25 mcg every 4 to 7 days, but not more than 100 mcg per day. The purpose of this application is to slowly build up the drug, allowing the body to adjust to an increase in the level of thyroid hormones, avoiding sudden changes that can cause side effects. Liothyronine sodium is usually not taken for more than 6 weeks and treatment cannot be stopped abruptly. Discontinuation of drug use should be as gradual as initiation. It is generally recommended to reduce the dose by 25 mcg every 4-7 days. This is necessary for the body to rebuild the production of its endogenous hormones after the end of therapy and also to prevent the occurrence of side effects.
